Clearly, the owner of this cute boutique thinks so too as Woodstock includes books, CDs and vintage festival posters dedicated to the era and beyond. Based in independent emporium Grand Central, there’s also a mix of vintage clothes from old jeans and flannel shirts to band tee-shirts. Now, where I did put that Jefferson Airplane tee?

As the name suggests, this is a 60’s/alternative fashion and collectables type shop. The sell everything from clothing and boots to jewellery and wall posters. It’s really hard to quantify the variety. But if you’re into hippy, goth, alternative style stuff, you’ll probably like this shop. The guy behind the counter kind of seemed a bit sullen to me and didn’t seem overly keen on making sure customers found what they wanted, but then isn’t that usually the way in shops of this type? It’s feels like you’re in a museum and if you touch any one item too many times someone is gonna tap you on the shoulder and ask you to leave. Still, a fun experience, and you gotta love the florescent lights over the doorway.
