We are a small family run hotel and restaurant situated in the busy heart of Liverpool.

Ziba Restaurant is renowned for its excellent quality of food using locally sourced produce from our organic farm shop and meat from the family farm. We have an award winning wine list.

The hotel is the ideal Liverpool Wedding Venue for that perfect wedding day. We excel in wedding receptions from intimate gatherings up to over 200 guests with a variety of different spaces to accommodate all requirements. We are licensed and approved for civil ceremonies by the local authorities.

Within this exceptional venue we also offer conference and event facilities.

We have eight great bedrooms; all are different with a quirky combination of neutral tones, local artwork & antique furnishings. We also have one serviced apartment 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

History

Established in 2003.

The award winning Ziba Restaurant was established in 1997 and moved into the refurbished Racquet Club Hotel in 2003. It is a special venue housed in a Victorian gem of building constructed in the form of a Venetian Palazzo by a wealthy Liverpool merchant in 1857.

In the past 8 years we have grown stronger and stronger and have become well known city centre wedding venue.

Manager

Having worked my way through from Reception, to Duty Management and Sales Office Co-​ordination, and then Deputy General Management, I joined the team at The Racquet Club Hotel from the beginning — before there were carpets and lights!

Dealing with most of the wedding enquiries I have been able to continue my passion of hosting and planning weddings for our guests. I enjoy the diversity of the events areas in the club, and whilst this is where my main passion is, heading the team of professional food and beverage staff, the daily challenges of running a city centre restaurant and Boutique Hotel gives me the passion to work in this industry.

The thing I enjoy most about working at the Racquet Club Hotel, is the diversity and challenges every day brings, the different events we host, and requirements of our customers makes every day different.
