Two experiences in one from the Perfume Shop today. Ignored for what seemed like an age by two of the older, make up clad assistants I was close to walking out when light tapping on the counter and gentle coughing right in front of them didn’t work.
But then the saving grace from the much smilier and attentive younger assistant. Friendly and bubbly she was more than pleased to offer advice, and her opinion, as well as provide numerous samples on cards of the fragerances I was considering even though I knew that they would just merge into one indefinable pong as they rubbed together in my pocket.
Prices here are probably the best in town and the staff can be very helpful, if you’re lucky.

The ever generic looking perfume shops that seem to appear at every airport corner seem to have made their way into shopping markets now and for some this would apear a bit of a step backward rather than forward, but as a one stop shop for fragrances The Perfume Shop can’t be beaten.
After debating for ages what to get for Fathers day I eventually stumbled accross a wide selection of choices and prices in this Liverpool ONE shop. Helpful and not condescending, the staff found what I thought my dad smells like and the process was over. Recommendable and swift.
