A new venture from the Cheshire based New Moon Pub Co. Recently opened and finding its feet in the über cool L1 postcode & sitting pretty on the opposite side of the street from The Phil’ pub. We dropped in to grab a swift one so can’t comment on the food just yet but can certainly say that this is teetering on the precipice of becoming another venue for the wannabe celebs that inhabit The Residents Lounge @ the aptly named ‘Hope’ St. Hotel just around the bend. Don’t take that as a downer, more a note to the reader that they may want to pull on some fancier duds before they call in. It sits well and the architecture and the provenance of this location add to the ambiance. It is certainly a huge space to cool your jets and the kind of place I will be going back to as their Breakfast menu is right up my avenue(so to speak) and I also spotted they do Vimto gravy on a Black Puddin hash. Word. #gottotrythat ps … take the chance to nip over the road to the architecturally famous Philharmonic pub toilet and leave your mark by taking a leak on the famous piss stone where John Lennon used to cock his leg. #Ono Yoko !!
