The Co-operative store is a convenient little corner shop based on a busy main road. It is an ideal place to resort to if you cannot be bothered going in to town or to bigger supermarket chains like Sainsbury’s. Obviously the choice is quite limited being a convenience store but you will tend to find all the usually grocery items such as biscuits, bread, drinks and newspapers so if there’s anything basic on your shopping list, then the Co-op is your place to come. There are however, sacrifices to make due to their slightly higher prices than your average supermarket. Not often you will find special offers too, such as ‘bogof’ deals. One drawback is that the shop is very tight in between the aisles but the Co-op isn’t normally packed with customers anyway. The service is usually efficient and all-in-all, a shop that deserves some credit mainly benefiting the locals.
