History

Established in 1984.

Managing Director Vince Friery Founded the business in 1984 creating Liverpools first motorcycle courier company. Opening a second and third office in Warrington and then Chester Swift Despatch was a founder Member of National Courier Association.

Vince was Chairman of this organisation and was honoured for services to the same day courier industry when he was made a founding fellow of the Institutre of Couriers in the House of Lords in 2005.

Swift Despatch was a founding depot of APC Overnight, the UKs largest independent Overnight. Until recently Vince was a Director of this company helping it to grow 40% year on year for 12 years.

Employing 40 people Swift is the northwest’s largest independent sameday courier service. It specialises particularly in legal and governmental services with its workforce all security cleared to handle this type of work. Oh yes did I mention they also handle ebay work for individuals as well as large blue chip corporate clients.
