Well, this is my parish. Over the years I have experienced: little church; first holy communions; confirmations; midnight masses and christmas choir recitals; easter celebrations with homemade palms and crème eggs, and countless services. The local congregation many of whom went to my primary and secondary school are all friendly locals who are charitable and compassionate joining in wholeheartedly with community fundraisers and appeals.
The parish holds close ties with it’s local namesake St Edmund’s School which stands beside it. The large brick building connected to the lower school is the parish hall where lots of local clubs such as dance groups meet.
