This place has all the stationary you need but the customer service is non existent. We were in here to buy a few bits and as we went up to the cashier she managed to serve us without uttering one word, without making eye contact and continuing to talk to the other two members of staff who were standing around doing nothing. Customer service is non existent as i said earlier and they don’t acknowledge that you are here.
i almost get the impression that we are interfering with their social life. I don’t think they realize that without us customers they will be out of a job. Hmmm not very clever.

Ryman’s is a top stationary store. My only criticism is that they no longer sell the blueberry gel pens I came to love at the age of twelve. But ah, surely that’s not their fault.
Offering great office equipment, a photocopying service, numerous pens, pencils, paper, art goodies, calenders, envelopes and much more, Ryman is the place to visit when you’re running low on these essentials as their prices are very reasonable. You can even get a 10% discount as a student.
Staff are friendly and knowledgable about stock.
Now, where can I find those gel pens?

Rymans is a good place to go to if your looking for a specific ink cartridge or a specialist writing paper.
However beyond that i struggled to see the point of going here when it is so easy now to pick up general stationary in places like Tesco or more centrally located WH Smiths.
This branch of Rymans is the only one i have been too and i found it to be overcrowded with so many different stationary items, it was difficult to find anything specific without spending ages in there.

Ryman is a top stationer that sells top of the range office products and accessories therefore it is an extremely attractive place for students to buy their stationery there. They also sell office equipment such as computer chairs and printers to name but a few. It is ideal if you are looking to make photocopies too as they have a photocopy machine service which you can operate yourself charged at a small fee.
If you cannot find what you are looking for at Ryman, then chances are you will not find it elsewhere at the same quality or choice. Your best bet would probably be Staples which is similar in style. Ryman prices are moderate (sometimes you can find the odd bargain) and if you can present a valid student card, you are enabled a 10% discount on all purchases.

For those that aren’t familiar with Ryman, it’s a British chain that falls somewhere between WHSmith and Office World. They sell printers, scanners, fax machines and voice recorders but I imagine they make their main bread and butter from their extensive range of paper, envelopes, notepads, pens, markers, diaries, calendars and post-​it notes. After all, have you ever visited an office that didn’t have a flurescent yellow pad of post-​it notes on each desk?
As Liverpool has a big student population, this branch also has a decent selection of cheap notepads, jotters, blank CDs, memory sticks and sketch pads. For nostalgics like me, they even stock typewriter ribbons!
