Unfortunately, this shop is no longer«Retro Vintage» its been taken over by someone else, sad to say there is only a small amount of clothing here & not really what I would call vintage,(which is why I made a special journey here) its more of what I would call a «Junk shop» selling lots of bric-à-brac etc… but still quite interesting especially if you’re in Lark Lane for the flea market… the last sunday of the month… I disagree with Elliot D about too many vintage shops in an area causing ennui to set in, I love to spend an afternoon browsing through vintage & antique shops all within walking distance, you mention Livvy Hats being the only other similar shop in the area, there is also Quiggins Attique, further up on Aigburth Vale. which is a favourite shop of mine.

Okay, I’m giving this a three, but I’m only doing it because the items here are lovely and the lady seems to know what she’s doing. Here’s why I wanted to give it a 2: 1. There’s not enough stock. 2. It’s poorly lit. 3. It just feels a bit dingy Other than that I liked what I saw, and was much more pleased with this shop than I was with Remains to Be Seen down the road. As Elliot mentioned there don’t seem to be other vintage shops in this area I thought I would mention that: –Larks(on the same road) has a vintage/antique room upstairs –Remains to be Seen is down the street
