Can’t fault pret. Really good quality food and drink and the coffee is organic if that floats your boat. The prices are slightly higher than average for a non restaurant type of venue but it beats going to McDonald’s. I had the chicken and kimchi salad which was really fresh and high quality. You’ll be hard pushed to find another fast food venue with the same food quality as here. This venue is located in quite a nice part of Liverpool :)

If you are flagging badly during your Liverpool shopping endeavours you may be short of a little leg resting and suffering the bain of all determined shoppers — low blood sugar. Have no fear intrepid spendaholics your redemption is close to hand. Fast food indeed in a well known franchise style if not quite French style. The thing that impresses at Pret a Manger is the very rapid service even a seemingly endless queue will go down in a matter of moments. Almost on a par with the speed is the high quality and freeness of the food, m y particular favourites are the soups which are heart and veg filled spicy treats in themselves. Watch out for the lentil and bacon or the spicy meatball, it will blow your socks off. The only problems lie in the popularity especially as you would guess at lunchtime when you can obtain food, but not always a table as rapidly. The successful tactic here is to split your hunting party into those scavenging for edible treats and those scouting for a table and hope you can reunite to enjoy your tasty snacks.

Chicken & avocado Crayfish & rocket Falafel & humous Avacado & herb Brie, tomato & basil Beef & rocket Jalapeño chicken Chicken caesar Scottish smoked salmon & Posh cheddar & chutney Pret A Manger excel at selling posh sandwiches, baguettes and hot melts to office workers and locals. Naturally, they’re more expensive than other local sandwich shops and delis but their unique selling point is that everything is produced and made on the premise every day with fresh ingredients that don’t have any chemicals or preservatives. Usually, you can taste this too. The thing I’m hopelessly hooked on however, is Pret’s Pea & Mint and Thai Corn on The Cob soup. They’re usually only sold one or two days each week but they’re both the best soups I’ve tasted this side of Hale & Hearty Soups in New York!

Love this place! Their chicken club is amazing, their tomato soup is addictive. Affordable and quick, great for lunch or an early dinner. Keep going back for more :)

At last Pret comes to Liverpool(well along with the one in Liverpool One). Undoubtedly the king of sandwich shops this occupies a prime corner location on the corner of Lord Street and Castle Street. Big space with loads of seats and a big outdoor seating area(facing the sun!). Favorites include the falafel and spinach sandwich which is awesome and the all day breakfast if I’m feeling hungover. They do great fresh soups and also a nice selection of salads. Cakes are also really good esp Lemon Drizzle and the Carrot Cake. Finally, the Choc Bar is super good if you need something really sweet to finish. Not cheap at all but worth it.
