What appears to be the manager has an attitude problem and is very abrupt and lazy. Starters as good as ever! But let down by a rude sort of cocky manager I can see other tables feeling uneasy around him. The waitress on shift with him I feel sorry for. Hopefully I can bite my tongue for the remainder of the meal.

The service was excellent; very attentive, knowledgeable, proactive. The pizzas we ordered took almost 45 minutes and the dough was undercooked in spots. a little disappointing. Nothing like New York style pizza.

The time we went we had atrocious service. The food was forgotten about for 45 minutes and when it arrived the margherita had some sausage on it. The manager ended up taking 50% off the bill. There’s much better Pizza Expresses elsewhere. Also I would say that any of the other places to eat in the food section of Liverpool One have been a let down too.

Has anyone heard of cheeseless pizza? Well, Pizza Express saved our lives. Try going to a pizza place with a vegan who fancies pizza minus the cheese. Phased? Nope. Pizza Express delivered on every count. Knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to accommodate my friend’s diet, even said that if she brought her own vegan substitute they’d be more than happy to make it. When her pizza came it was loaded with veg and looked ridiculously tasty. I can’t get enough of pizza express the cheesier and meatier the better. They have some gorgeous starters too so make sure you’re ravenous before you arrive! It’s even better if you remember to bring the online vouchers. 50% off! Ker-ching. Happy customers all round.

I love the location of this Pizza Express. It is walking distance from the Echo Arena and Albert Docks. There is seating outside for a sunny day and you are next to pretty much most hotels in the area. Food wise Pizza Express is almost like a second home for all Pizza lovers isn’t it. It is like the Pizza equivalent for Chicken lovers and Nandos. They are conveniently located everywhere and you know exactly what you’re gonna get with each one. Great food, and especially the garlic balls are worth a visit alone if you have been living under a rock for the last ten years and haven’t been to one.

Hello, my name is Jemma, and I’m a Pizza Express addict. There, I confessed, now give me a break. I love Pizza Express. I’m usually a regular at the Albert Dock branch because it’s more convenient for me, but I do really like this branch. It’s located inside an old bank, which makes you feel like you’re getting a side of heritage with your pizza. However, as an addict, I would give up the heritage for aside of garlic dough balls! Obviously, the menu is the same in every Pizza Express but if you’re a virgin(unlucky you) I’ll advise you on my favourites. Here goes: for a starter I would get the dough balls every time — boring maybe but that way you get some yumminess but still have room for the next two courses! Gem(another Pizza Express addict — maybe they should start up rehabilitation?!!) would always, without fail, pick the bruschetta, which does look delicious but I’m not a huge fan of tomatoes. For the main, we would both have Pollo de Astra on the Romana base(a fancy term for extra extra thin)… it is literally heaven on a 14″ plate. Admittedly, I’ve only had dessert once due to the excess gorging on the starter and the main — once we managed to squeeze in a chocolate fudge sundae type thing which really did finish me off. It was worth it though. Note: if you’re going out with a group, or even the two of you, always check the internet for vouchers as you can often get 50% off, or main meals for £1 etc. which really makes a difference to your bank balance!

Contrasting the slick silver design of the Albert Docks branch, this Pizza Express is housed in a converted old bank in the city centre. There’s no old signage or statues but the high ceilings, big pillars and dark wooden furniture definitely hint at the building’s history. The staff are friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is usually relaxed and laidback. The menu includes dozens of different pizzas, salads and pasta dishes — though I have to say the most popular item last time I went seemed to be the new Leggera pizzas. Designed to be about 500 calories each, they’re basically a normal pizza with the middle taken out and replaced with fresh salad. There’s chicken and veggie versions but the most appetising has to be the Mare E Monti with king prawns, olives, mushrooms, red onions, fior di latte mozarella, oregano, parsley and cajun spice. Mine was so good, I was tempted to order another. After all, it had been a hectic day and I knew it was only 500 calories!

It was a fairly decent Pizza Express, the staff were nice and pleasant, I really liked the décor but a really shabby toilet let the whole place down, seriously it’s not a pleasant experience, they need a refurb badly. The food arived quickly and was tasty. The kids menu is a bargain for all the food you get, ended up eating most myself, way too much for a 1.5 year old, exactly what I was hoping for. Sort out the toilets and this place could be great.

Friday Night is not the ideal place to find somewhere cozy to eat in ‘WAG wannabe’ land. awash like a well dressed cattle market the girls plastered in make up that give a Lily Savage a good run for her money! I decided to do ‘low key’ and was plkeasantly surprised by the ultra modern décor polite chatty staff and quite good food, all in all not an un pleasant experience a cut above most Pizza Express joints
