Bob Dylan — Blood on The Tracks Joni Mitchell — Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter Bruce Springsteen — Nebraska Lambchop — Awc’mon /Noyouc’mon & Blondie — Parallel Lines To the kind soul that donated their record collection to Oxfam recently, thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ve been after these albums on vinyl for years and to find them all for £5-£8 in mint condition made my day!

Oxfam is the only charity shop in the Lark Lane area so I thought I’d check it out. The shop is quite small and narrow but is crammed with lots of goodies. At the back there is a big section of books, DVDs, videos, Cd’s and ornament. In the past I have found a couple of rarities and hidden treasures in this section. At the front is the usual clothes section divided into men’s and women’s items and clothes. The staff work hard(and obviously for nothing) to keep the items organised into size and style so that you can easily find what you are looking for. I have never bought an item of clothing from the shop, but that has been due to not being in the right place at the right time as it would be with other charity shops.
