On Your Plate is a little café and sandwich bar situated in Walton Vale. It looks shabby from the exterior but the tables inside are nice enough, and the ambiance is friendly. Little check table cloths remind me of the good old fashioned caffs so sitting in here is nostalgic.
Prices are incredibly cheap, you can get a decent breakfast and a couple of litres of tea down you to charge you up for the day at a price that will not expend purse strings.
This isn’t the best café I’ve been too in terms of aesthetics, but the staff are chatty and friendly, and the food is decent.
Worth a visit if you’re in the vicinity and a mite peckish!
