There are innumerable shoe shops in St John’s, all selling pretty similar, if not the same, stock however each store varies on the price– which can differ by some pounds from store to store– and the atmosphere within(some are untidy with painfully harsh lighting and the distinct sense you’re browsing in a cheap-cheap shop, others not so much) and of course, the staff differ in each shop and individual attitudes vary greatly. Overall, Missie’s is pretty standard; you can pick up a decent enough pair of shoes, that is, they’ll do they job for a short while(think Primark quality) it all depends on your eye and style whether you can pick up a «nice» pair; some are undeniably plastic, ridiculously high and conform to irregular foot sizes and shapes. The staff are actually quite friendly in this store, in comparison to others in the precinct anyway.
