The International Street Market seems to appear about once every three months in Liverpool City Centre. Normally it pops up in and around Queens Square, but this year it seemed to fall on the bottom end of Lord Street by the Whitechapel crossroad! It’s culturally interesting as it offers many different stalls selling a range of foods and gifts from countries all over the world. But beware, it’s very expensive for what you’re getting. They have stalls from most European countries offering out their local quisine at around £5 or £6 for a small portion. Spanish stalls selling Paella, Belgium stalls selling choloclate and waffles etc. They have Australian stalls with barbeques that serve alligator and kangaroo meat, all a bit of a novelty, but exciting non the less! I would recommend taking a look next time the market comes to town, but I doubt you’ll net a bargain!
