Holy Family R C High School

I sent both my children to this school Leanne and Steven, teachers were ok.
This is a really nice school my children did ok and my next two are going there also unlless it shuts down lol
lots of people hate school when they attend but later on in life when they mature a little, they come to appreciate just what the teachers did for them, not all teachers are bad, they treat you mostly how other people treat them.
I remember all the good times my kids had there singing in concerts etc and have some on vid, and i’m sure I will have lots of future memories of the school too

Went to this school in the 80s left 1989.
Really bad schoollots of bad memory’s about this place. teachers did not care, were just collecting their pay each month. Had to go to Southport college to do A Levels, seeing as they made a mess of my education at this high school.
Then went on to University, might of never because of the teachers at this school.
Wish my parents had of sent me to another school at the time.

I went to this school about 10 years ago, it was pretty rubbish then and from what I’ve head, it just gets worse! The school was pretty run down when I was there, we used to use mobile classrooms for some subjects, known as ‘the huts’. Since I left, they built a whole new 6^th form building, much needed. The majority of the teaching was very poor, I’d say around 80−90% of the teachers had absolutely no desire to be there, didn’t like kids, didn’t like teaching and were obviously only doing it as they couldn’t think of another career. There were the odd few good teachers, nothing against them, but most that I encountered had been there a good 20 years or more and just had no interest.
I was glad to get outta there!
