My mum and sister always refer to this clothing store as ‘Dotty P’s’ which makes it sound like a batty elderly relative out of whom it is occasionally necessary to extort clothing or shoes(«I need some sandals for the summer» «Just head down to Dotty P’s, then»). The reality is far less dark, as is the shop itself which is pleasingly bright and cheery(which as you may have noticed is a plus for me, a personal shopping bugbear is the darkness of some clothing shops) Still it would be difficult to sell flowery patterned dresses and sensible jeans in an All Saints-esque low-lit boutique. It may not all be catwalk friendly but the stuff in here seems to be on-trend enough and there are ranges of good value jeggings, t-shirts and cardigans. You probably wouldn’t want to buy a party dress here(they’re all a bit mumsy, I suppose if you were a mum then actually it would the perfect place to pick up a party dress) and the shop is on the small side, so don’t expect the full range to be available, but if you’re of the lady-female-girly sort, you’re in the area and need to replace some basic items at short notice then you need look no further.

A good size store with all the latest fashion stocked. There is also a good selection of shoes and boots at the back of the shop. The store has clean, bright changing rooms at the back of the shop. Throughout the shop, there are jewellery stands and racks of bags, tights and undies! The staff are always chatty and very careful at folding the clothes so that they don’t crease in the bag.
