Civic Hall is a great community arts centre; there’s always something on that will appeal to everyone: something for kids, something for families, something for the older folk, the shows are diverse, and constantly changing. There’s live music shows and professional dancing as well as performances by local dance schools(I myself took part in these many years ago) there’s also pantomimes, plays and even festivals like the upcoming Writing Festival bringing guests like Frank Cottrell Boyce and Ann Baker.(November 6th2010) The price of tickets varies according to the show but is always reaosnable with discounts for OAPs and Children– some events are free of charge, Check the Sefton Arts Brochure for upcoming shows and availabilty.
