Chem Strip

PLEASE DO NOT USE. I’m sorry to have to say this as I am a huge believer in helping local businesses. Please do not use this cowboy firm! I sent doors to be stripped, they said it would be a 3 day turn around, I sent them on Tuesday for them to return on Friday. I took Friday off work. The doors where meant to arrive but apparently they needed some handwork done on them and would return on Tuesday. I then took Tuesday off work to get the run around again on this day, still no doors! I left various voicemails on Eddies phone but no call back! The next day I managed to get hold of him at 11.30am to be told my doors where being delivered the day before, however the van had no insurance and had been pulled over by the police. Apparently my doors where now in a compound! I asked where this compound was Eddie was adamant the police wouldn’t tell him. I rang police to be told every owner of the vehicle is told where the vehicle will be so they can get their items from the vehicle. All this time I’m heating a very drafty house. Eddie still maintained he couldn’t find out where the vehicle was. I was then told late Wednesday they would get insurance and bring my doors Thurs after 2.30. Thurs still no doors. I received a call to say it’s now going to be Fri. 3 and half days off work using holidays, finally the doors arrived. This is where the true nightmare begins. They were soaking wet like they had been stripped that morning, solution was dripping out of every door. Most of the panels in the doors where distorted and bowed badly. I quizzed the delivery driver over this and he said they will be ok when they dry out, well Eddie they are dry now and they are still bowed! Nothing like your website says!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY! They also go under the name of Enviro Strip so please be careful.
