On the hunt for birthday candles and balloons, my friends and I entered Cameo as it’s our local gift shop. Dated from the exterior and interior, with a window crammed full of good wishes, we did not have high hopes.
Upon entrance we found it difficult to navigate all the rows of cards and wrapping paper. And the store had a really weird smell. Not a pleasant one, either.
I didn’t find the staff to be particularly helpful and in light of local competitors I think I’d rather head somewhere else next time to get my gift apparel!

Cameo is a great little place to make a special event that little bit more special and as well as this it does exactly what it says on the tin and provides everything stated on the sign.
Cameo provides decorations for any event and the staff are very helpful in assisting you to find the perfect products. The best thing about Cameo is the fact that they specialise in so many different products for so many occasion such as personalised balloons and various other decorations.
Even though the actual store itself could do with a spruce this is a great little establishment which provides great value for money and an all round friendly experience. So on the whole if you’re in need of something special for a special day then get to Cameo and they will help you out in an instant.
