It is a rip off for the money. I went and was very disappointed, there were hardly any bugs, it doesnt last the 90 minutes like they state, don’t waste your money people. As stated before, the liverpool museum is much more interesting, is free, takes up a few hours and has a lot of the same bugs.

Again this is NOT by liverpool airport as it says in the title Bug world opened on 2nd July 09, It is situated in the Albert dock, just ask someone as the signs are not very good at the moment as it’s very new. It is wonderful if you are curious about bugs the place it’s self is impressive, although it needs a few more bugs but i am sure that will come in time, The staff were very pleasant and helpful and pleased to talk to you about the bugs. We even got to eat giant ants yes eat them they cost a £1 each though, expensive little critters, they tasted nutty ! I got to hold a giant millipede he was cool, the whole experience was very different and fascinating. The price to get in was a bit expensive for a family and lots of people wont be able to afford it, 2 adults and 2 children £30.00. There is a shop selling gifts in the foyer where you pay. Yes i did enjoy it and so did the children. The Bug World Experience will provide a fun day out for everyone. 36 species of bugs, including: Interactive games and drones of species to OBSERVE 6 Insect habitats to LEARN about bugs like leaf cutter ants, scorpions and spiders. HOLD some creepy crawlies in the handling section. How about TASTING a bug or two
