I love Springsteens! A huge and varied menu, breakfasts that are served all day, and the food is always good if not great! The service is fine(you’ll do a lot worse) and aside from peak times it’s never too busy to get a table or good service. Always our go-to restaurant

I’ve said in my other reviews that I like Springsteens and this place is no different really. I think its solid, unpretentious food at a decent price and I have never had a bad experience in it. This particular Springsteens is quite similar to the others in that the staff are friendly and polite and always helpful. The food is tasty and filling and I think its a great price as well. For what you get I think it is excellent value for money. Last time I was here I had my usual order of bacon and cheese burger and chips and found it to be a but overdone, but that I have found to be more the exception than the rule with this restaurant. This place won’t let you down if you want to grab a bite to eat before or after the cinema or on a night out.

The good old American Diner — so integrated in our culture nowadays you can rarely go wrong, and the same can be said for Springsteen’s in Lisburn. This would have been my most visited Springsteens behind the one in Carrickfergus, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. This generally used to be the place we went, anytime he headed out, be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Unfortunately for some reason, about a year and a half ago, they decided to downgrade their menu, and all the items that got the chop, were unfortunately my favourite dishes. I understand that because this restaurant doesn’t get as much custom as the other Springsteen’s restaurants, so they can’t justify running as big a menu, but it has made it slightly less attractive in my eyes. Also, the place seems to be very overstaffed, on occasion I notice that they have more staff than they have customers, and some of the staff give the impression that they would rather not be there. Still, you can get a good meal, with good portions, at a good price, as you can in the other Springsteen’s restaurants!

My experience of Sprinsteen’s wan not a very memorable one. Me and a couple of friends went here before the cinema one day when we didn’t find the thought of university very appealing! I didn’t think that I would be saying the same of the food later on though! I had a battered chicken burger with cheese, bacon, bbq sauce and tobacco onions, and whilst a delicious proposition in concept, in reality it left a lot to be desired. The chicken has tough and chewy, and was genuinely hard to eat. My friends reported that their beef burgers were somewhat better but were nothing special. I couldn’t help feel that this place was vastly overpriced. The only good thing is that the place doesn’t charge for extra toppings on your burger which is good, but when compared to the quality of burger that you would get at Wolfes nearby, this place wanes badly in comparison. We received a voucher offering us £5 off our next visit which would have been very welcome if I had properly enjoyed this joint, but ass with the other Springsteen’s I have experienced in Botanic, this place is a bit mediocre. There used to be another place in this outlet before Springsteen’s arrived, but the name escapes me, but I preferred it greatly to this!

I remember this used to be good. Doesn’t seem to be the case any more. The restaurant is constantly overstaffed despite the fact that the place rarely appears to reach half capacity. Staff are grumpy and seem to have real problems in getting orders correct. Toilets are disgusting. Avoid.

Amazing food with a real American Diner feel. The décor and the feel of the restaurant is cheerful and interesting with the various American memorabilia. There is a huge choice of food(the fajitas and the Creole chips are lovely) and the portions are huge. The service can be a little slow at busier times but it is usually ok. The restaurant and toilets are clean and there is plenty of parking at the rear of the restaurant. The staff are a not the most cheerful of people and seem to resent having to work a little but this is the only concern. One of my favourite restaurants in Lisburn.

This place has changed hands in the last couple of years. We hadn’t been happy with the previous business so were a bit dubious about going back. But our fears came to nothing, the food was good, and a noticeable improvement in the place. The restaurant still retains the old American diner feel with old signs and memorabilia stuck up all over the place. The menu is more ‘fun’ with a good choice of meals, if but a little slow at times. Plenty of easy parking and with the cinema just a minute’s walk away this place can form part of a good night out.
