Jeffers Home Bakery

Is it a bakery or a café?! We just don’t know! I’ve only been here once, on a rare trip to Lisburn. I was in desperate need of a munch and thought I’d pop in here to grab something to eat on the go. I walked up to the front and feasted my eyes on all the delights this place held. Being an traditional sort of guy in the world of baked things, I went for the cornish pastie.
It was incredible! The potato inside was perfectly cooked which can be hard to do sometimes but these guys rocked it out. Next time I’m back in the mighty Lisburn, I’ll definitely pop in again

This is a really nice bakery and café on Bow Street in Lisburn. The bakery is downstairs and offers a great range of homemade cakes, pastries, breads and scones. All of which are great! The café upstairs offers a nice range of homemade lunches or which I actually love their salads. Mainly as they justify the cake I proceed to have after it! Plus it’s fresh and delicious too. They also make cakes to order if you’ve a birthday or special occasion coming up and the prices across the board in here are fairly good! Jefferson’s has a real traditional homely charm that makes a refreshing change from subway or Starbucks.

Jeffers Bakery is a lovely old fashioned type of bakery and café. Downstairs is the bakery, where one can purchase a huge range of delicious cakes, buns, breads and sandwiches to take out.
Their filled sodas are absolutely delicious — I have tried numerous times to make them myself at home, but they never taste as good as they do in Jeffers. Celebration cakes can also be made to order here, including platters of goddies such as sausage rolls and vol-​au-​vents.
Upstairs is the café/​tea shop — there is always a delicious range of food available to view on the hot plate, my favourite is the filled baked potato with bacon and cheese, closely followed by the quiche with salad or the vegetarian pizza slice. They can also make up cold meals such as salads or sandwiches to order.
