Natural Structures Limited are a timber building specialist based in Leicester, designing and constructing bespoke oak framed buildings for our clients across the UK. We pride ourselves on building beautiful timber framed buildings using only authentic techniques, developed through over ten centuries of creativity and innovation.

All our work incorporates our traditional heritage; we construct your building and combine that with the modern tools and materials at our disposal. We also try to adopt local styles and construction methods where possible, such as when we’re working on extensions to existing buildings. This allows us to create a fusion of the two, enhancing the overall look and feel of your building whilst retaining its original qualities.

Our work covers an extensive range of jobs, from timber framing of homes, to cladding, to floors, to fixtures. All of our work is hand crafted and unique and our friendly and helpful staff will be happy to help with all your queries.

History

Established in 1994.

Natural Structures is a family run business employing a small, but dedicated number of staff who are all passionate about their craft. All of our oak is grown and felled in France and each of our timber frames are made using age-​old variations of mortice, tenon and scarf joints which are each methodically hand cut.

To maintain quality and integrity throughout each project, we carry out all assembly work under controlled conditions at our framing barns at Tur Langton in Leicestershire, ensuring that all of our Oak frames arrive on site ready for a smooth and accurate assembly.
