All our staff can supply friendly and helpful advice on any DIY jobs you may be completing, with many years in trade they have expert knowledge on existing and new products/​techniques.

We aim to supply a wide range of products in our shop to DIY and proffessional customers. If there’s a product we don’t have, then please ask as we may be able to order you it in.

History

Established in 2012.

Ben, owner of Paint it Hardware and The Tool Box, first started his business on a market stall; selling all manner of hardware related products. He became successful at the markets and decided to open a shop. A few years later, he had built his business up and had a few shops in small local Yorkshire towns, selling to the townspeople of the areas. Today, he has Paint it Hardware in the historic market town of Otley and The Tool Box in the countryside setting of Skipton, another small historic market town. Both of the shops have the ethos of being «here for the community, not the world.» We try to stick to this ethos at Paint it; we don’t sell our products online and we do everything we can to get the products you need without you having to leave Otley.
