Beyond Bronze

With many glowing young women walking around Leeds with a need for a heat hit, several tanning salons have propped up over the last three year in the Headingley/​Hyde Park area.
Suntan Centre is one of my favorites. I’m not going to pretend my tan is all real, I like to holiday and lay to burn in the heat, however in between traveling I have to keep it topped up! I feel naked with out a bit of sun on my face twice a week.
The Suntan Centre provides both spray tans and sunbeds (lie down and stand ups) at one of the best prices and qualities in the area. For £25 you can get 70mins of tanning which I think is brilliant! On the spray tan front prices depend on what products you use however the centre does provide Fake Bake tans which are the bee’s knees (no blotches and not too umpa lumpa orange!)
You do feel pampered when you enter the Sundbed Centre as the décor is plush, minimal and modern with metallic and atmospheric lighting. Just what a girl need sometimes!
The only down side of the Suntan centre is it’s parking. Based on one of Headingley’s busiest roads it is often hard to get a car parking space. There is a car park about 200m away however you don’t want to be walking around Leeds without your make up on and hair scraped back so I would wait till night time unless you have the face of Kate Moss, which I for one definitely do not.
