This intimate venue used to be a vegan brunch café, attached to a ethnicy shop. Over time the shop has dissapeared and the food gone up-market. Great food, wine and service — in a very enjoyable atmosphere. Although I found that portions have decreased, while prices have increased.

This is my favorite restaurant! It’s great to go for a coffee, for lunch or for a meal. The food is fantastic, the wine choice is excellent and the atomsphere relaxing. The inside has a gothic, boudair look to it but that’s fitting and wouldn’t be right if it was any other way. The service can be quite slow but is well worth it. Would recommend booking during the special occassions such as Valentines Day, Christmas and New Year

This is a great place to go just for a coffee. It has a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. There is a lot of random things(like books, copper kettles, iron birdcages etc — it changes as these things are also for sale) decorating the place, which make great talking points, or pick a seat in the window for good people-watching. There is low lighting, making the place feel warm and cosy in winter. In summer, they shut on Sundays so they can enjoy themselves, and who can blame them. Tasty things on the menu too.

The menu is ever-changing but all AMAZINGLY cooked and presented. I can honestly say that I’ve never had a bad meal there. They also have an eclectic collection of drinks and their meals are never dull. Even their hamburgers have added bits and pieces. Helpful staff, beautiful decorations and many a wonderful evening spent there.
