Totally disagree with the above. I found the wait in reception long, crowded and claustrophobic, and the receptionists not exactly friendly or helpful. The doctor I saw told me I shouldn’t have come to see him when I was ill, failed to listen to what I was telling him, and was incredibly patronising. He also failed to deal with the issue I was asking about. Aside from one nice nurse, I hated everything about this practice and left, moving to a much better one elsewhere in town. The NHS pay doctors based on numbers of patients, make sure your money is well spent.

I have always been a patient at this practice and have received nothing but good service there. The receptionist staff are always helpful, remembering you when you go in and were particularly helpful when we left the area for a while, only to return at a later date. They helped with transferring forms internationally and ensuring that, upon return, we were more than welcome back. The surgery also offers a weekly visit to rural areas, which was particularly handy for me since I lived in such a village. This meant that the doctor could be reached by walking, making things a whole lot easier. The morning booking service makes it easy to get appointments and the doctors are always friendly and welcoming.
