History
Established in 2012.
Matt, owner of Locksmiths of Knutsford, began picking locks as a child when his father brought home a set of drawers from work that were missing the keys. He picked the lock, and then filed a blank key to fit it. Since then, Matt has held a commercial pilot’s licence, worked as the technical director of an industrial laser manufacturing company, and also plays over 12 different musical instruments; but locks have always remained a passion!
With many years experience in lock picking behind him, Matt finally decided to sit the official exams in 2012 and passed with a whopping 98% before setting up Locksmiths of Knutsford.

Business Owner
Matt’s main passions in life have been lock picking, technology, and music. Matt has run many successful Jazz bars and Restaurants, as well as releasing an album and working as resident pianist for the Cairo Club Orchestra (Melbourne, Australia). He has travelled quite extensively, including 6 years in Australia, 2 years in Canada, and 2 years in China (not to mention the many countries that he has worked in for shorter periods).
Matt has many interests, experiences and qualifications. He builds his own computers, has worked as a pilot, an industrial laser technical director, and even an English teacher! Matt is also a member of the Australian Institute of Management.
