Knutsford Wine Bar

Must say that all the time I’ve resided in the North West I’ve never ventured to knutsford on a night out! We this has been rectified and I came across this little gem on my travels. It’s not the biggest of places (prob the size of a regular local hight street shop) so get a bit el ramo, however it has a good buzz and vibe inside. They have a great selection of live music and have a large chalk board on the wall showing all the upcoming bands/​music that’s on– check out the link below as clearly you will only be able to see the board if you are in the venue!
Upstairs is a restaurant — never eaten here but it would be worth a go as then you can get a prime spot to people watch and check out the band. I’ve only visited on an evening but i think it also doubles as a coffee shop during the day.
If you are ever in leafy Cheshire then it is worth a visit. It was a parish church in a former life fact fans!

Die Bar ist eigentlich immer voll. Obwohl Wine im Namen auftaucht, wird hier bevorzugt Bier getrunken.
Im ersten Stock befindet sich das angeschlossene Restaurant. Von der Empore hat man einen direkten Blick auf die Bühne.
Auch diese Location ist sehr urig und traditionell, mit viel Holz und offenen Backsteinwänden gestaltet. Die Altersstruktur bewegt sich auch hier von jung bis alt. Becor man in die Amber Lounge geht, sollte man hierher einen Abstecher machen.

This for me is a sweet sweet safe haven in Knutsford. The place is buzzing most nights. Did I call it a sweet haven? Oh yes I did and for good reason, just LOOK!!! LOOOOOK!!! darth vader Luuuuuuuuuke type of Look at the dessert menu. I would happily come in here just to have dessert after a meal.

glancing down the menu Apple and Pear Crumble with vanilla ice cream/​custard stares back at me with sulky disdain. Glancing across the table the mrs is batting the eye lids pointing at the Chocolate Fondue made up of warm sugared doughnuts, honeycomb, fruit skewers, chocolate brownie and warm chocolate dipping sauce.
Headache !!headache! dont knwo what to have!!! dont know what to have… What a pleasent headache to have to be fair.
The warm fuzzy feeling you get as you destroy your chosen dessert, is a feeling you realize actually began as soon as you stepped through that door. The place is charming, I love the brick interior and the fireplace. How lucky are Knutsford people to have this hidden gem. you lucky sods teh lot of ya. It’s perfect for lunch/​coffee/​dinner and did I mention dessert??? :D
There is scope for private hire for parties or private dinners upstairs which means while having upstairs to yourself, you can still enjoy the atmosphere from downstairs. A friend of mine who is a Knutsfordian told me you can even hire out the whole place with capacity for over a 100 people. Imagine having it all to yourself with all your friends, oooo I say I say… Dans le conclusion please find below silvous plait!
This is another welcome, delightful addition to your King street adventure in Knutsford should you decide to have a gander to see what the Cheshire country folk are upto. ;)

Only had a cappuccino today but very good, comes complete with mini-​chocolate brownie. Good open fire, friendly staff, good place to spend some time

The Knutsford Wine Bar has been going for many years, and is the only place is knutsford that seems to stay popular. There is a reasonalbe menu but the food is not what makes the wine bar so great, infact the food is pretty average. What sets the wine bar apart from everything else is its atmosphere and its great choice of live music on different nights of the week. There is always a roaring fire and friendly staff, but this place gets busy and there is often nowhere to sit. All in all the Knutsford Wine Bar is great, just go somewhere for dinner first!

Seating rather limited during the day but nice well rounded menu and the food is good quality and sizeable amounts. Entertainment isnear every day so you can eat whilst listening to live music.
