In a little town not overflowing with quality food purveyors this was a pleasant little find indeed. A good range of products much of which seemed to be locally sourced; savoury pies and pastries, from hotpots to lovely little pork pies, sandwiches made to order, freshly sliced cold meats, slices of fruit pie and egg custards, crusty cobs and jars of chutneys, locally produced butter and lots more. Friendly staff and a couple of tables outside in the summertime, what more could you want. You can keep your Pound Bakeries and Gregg’s for me, I love independent little shops like this!
