This is one of those pubs I’ve been going to for years. I’m not local to the area anymore but whenever I’m down visiting family this is one of the pubs we usually go to. It’s a Wetherspoon’s pub now and some might say that ruins it but I can’t argue with the cheap food & drink prices! Okay, the food if it wasn’t a Wethy would probably but a bit better, more ‘homely’ but as I said the prices here are really good & you know what you’re going to get. Gorgeous 18th century building with many original features. This place has been a pub since 1714 ~ wow. The folk of Kings Lynn sure know how to look after their pubs! I like the twisty-turny, wee nooks and crannies feel to the place. You can sit upstairs or down and they used to occasionally, in the colder months have a log fire. Really good selection of beers/real ales and the staff are happy to let you ‘try before you buy’ here too. If you happen to be blessed with looking young(like moi, haha!) then remember to bring your ID as upon my last visit I had to get my Mum to buy my pint of beer! Haha! Brilliant. It’s children friendly, has an outside area for the warmer days or smokers and they have free WiFi. Yes, it could probably do with a wee spruce up but for what it does it serves it’s purpose and for a pretty sweet price too.

I have been here many times to eat it wasn’t to great a few months ago as there had been a couple of times where there had been problems with mine and my husbands food being either cold or over cooked and timings that we had to wait would be a nightmare!.. Even to just get served sometimes took upto twenty minutes when it wasn’t even busy staff just seemed no where to be seen. It is just such a beautiful building and the cosy fire is what keeps me and my husband coming back. Luckily enough there is now a new manager hedi who seems to have turned the place around employing new staff/more staff. There seems to be a real feel of team work and all the new members are lovely and friendly always willing to go the extra mile to help with anyone’s needs. The food has even improved never usually more than ten minutes unless it’s really busy which it very often gets now and never any problems always cooked to perfection. Me and my husband actually now have to book sometimes just because it is so busy! Well done to the new team and turning the place around definitely recommend going there!

Brilliant 1714 building. Highly recommend a look. I’m no expert on King’s Lynn but at least in the general area, there’s nothing that compares to this pub in terms of ambiance. the ceiling, as the name of the pub suggests, is amazing.

not bad, pretty quite, dark and boring to be honest. had food a few times and the majority of the time its cold or wrong. Could do with a re-vamp.

I’ve been to the Lattice House for a meal several times and have had mainly good experiences. It’s an old coach house, the atmosphere and interior seem to have stuck around for the few hundred years. The drink is well priced as you’d expect with any Wetherspoons. The food in general is as good as you get in a Wetherspoons and I’d highly recommend it. I have had problems there with a couple of meals in the Sunday Club deal being uncooked and solid as a result, but the regular menu seems to be problem free.

The Lattice House is a Weatherspoon’s pub(another one!) it is an old coach housel in quite a nice historic setting off the old Tuesday Market Place right in the centre of King’s Lynn. It has been refurbished a few times and is popular as drinks are reasonably priced and there are some good offers on food. Thursday night is a Curry Night where you get Curry and a beer for less than a fiver. There are several bars in the Lattice and it can be a job to find friends. The Lattice House gets extremely busy on Thursday(Curry), Friday and Saturday nights. It can then be difficult to get served and if you go before 6pm then there is hardly any chance of getting food.

This is a weatherspoons pub in the heart of the town centre, the Lattice House is opposite the Queen Elizabeth Dukes hotel and can generate trade from the hotel guests. In general the pub is very quiet which is surprising as it is a lovely building and is run by friendly staff, there doesn’t seem to be that many local people in here. The food is run of the mill weatherspoons food which is not to everybody’s taste. The beers are good and the prices reasonable. Like all Weatherspoons pubs there are beer festivals at certain times of the year.
