Soar Tackle was set up in 2009 by keen a respected river angler Scott Johnson.

Scott who is also an Angling Trust coach and a contributor to Marukyu uk plus many angling publications, has put together a tackle shop based on old values and knowledge. With a select range of tackle and baits that he uses him self.

Soar Tackle has it’s own range of bait prepared in house, all of which are becoming very popular.

History

Established in 2009.

Soar Tackle was formed in 2009 after 10 years of fishery knowledge. Running a popular stretch of the river Soar and then in a specimen still water from 2005 until present.

With over 30 years fishing knowledge and 15 years knowledge of running a fishery.

Often nick named Stickfloat by friends with in fishing I have a love for running water winning a number of match’s in past years.

I’ve started writing my own blog adding hints and tips on river fishing, with a lot more to follow. I’m also a contributor in a few popular angling publications, as well as a helper and contribute in bait development at Marukyu UK.
