History
Established in 2004.
Jersey Kayak Adventures was formed by Derek Hairon (BCU level 5 sea coach) and Gary Kemp.
As experienced and progressive sea kayak coaches we recognised how great the coastline of Jersey is for sea kayaking. We are the first company in the UK to recognise how user friendly Sit on top kayaks enable people to explore the coastline and see wildlife as part of their adventure and water-sports activities in jersey.
Derek has gone on to write Sit on top kayak. A beginners manual (pub Pesda Press) and often writes for kayak and water sports magazines.
