TaxAssist Accountants in Islington and Camden was set up in 2004 by Louise Thorpe and Gary Barham, who after many years in the corporate world, decided they wanted to set up their own business to serve the local community.

Gary has over 20 years accounting experience, having worked at Ernst and Young before TaxAssist and he has an extensive knowledge of UK taxation. Louise is an experienced business manager and she ensures the overall efficiency of the Practice and its continuous development in line with market and client needs.

We appoint high calibre, qualified senior accountants, with over 15 years’ experience each. We also appoint a full time Practice Manager to ensure customer enquiries are dealt with effectively and promptly.

We provide a friendly and responsive service on all aspects of Accountancy and Tax, including Company Accounts, Self Assessment Tax Returns, VAT Returns, Payroll, Bookkeeping and Company Formations.

During the free initial consultation, we discuss your needs and provide an accountancy solution that is tailored to you. Our dedicated staff get a real satisfaction from helping owner managed businesses success in the local area. Our staff are skilled business advisors and so in addition to preparing the Accounts, they work with you to grow and develop your business.

We have a fixed fee policy and offer flexible payment options.
