Available online we have 22 collections of handmade glass giftware including bowls, perfume bottles, paperweights, vases and decorative lighting, varying in design, shape, size and price to suit many tastes. History

Established in 1973.

Following in the pioneering footsteps of Michael Harris, Timothy Harris born 1961, began his apprenticeship in the glass world at an early age. He is a natural but says «it’s not a job but a passion…». The Harris family with the support of their craftsmen continue the family motto — «Our best work will be done tomorrow».

Timothy’s path to his glassmaking career began at a very early age on Malta with his father Michael Harris, the world renowned glassmaker/​designer (1933 – 1994).

As a small boy Tim was always keen to be in the studio with his father and this is where his career path began.

At 19 he joined Isle of Wight Studio Glass formally as an apprentice to his father and, as would be expected, it was not an easy time for either individual !

He was then invited to join the first intake of trainee studio glass makers at Brierley Hill Glass School where he was the youngest member of the group 1979 – 1980. At this school he learned something about every aspect of the glassmaking industry with traditionally and classically trained glassmakers which was all very beneficial.

At the end of the course he rejoined Isle of Wight Studio Glass and very quickly became a very accomplished and valuable member of the staff– a natural with the material– quickly developing into a very fine craftsman.
