We spent a long weekend in Norfolk and were looking for a local place to have a nice evening meal. Whilst out we found a leaflet for the King William iv so decided to visit. Thankfully I called to book ahead as we got the last reservation for the evening. Having now eaten here I can understand why as it’s very popular and with good reason. The menu is fairly extensive and includes lots of local produce from seafood to meats and game. The selection was so great it took us same time to decide what we were going to have. Everything ordered came exactly as we had asked and the food was wonderful. I could say that my starter mushrooms in garlic butter was a bit too generous but for the price it was excellent value. There are a number of different seating areas in the King William IV. It’s obviously grown to meet demand. We had a fantastic evening, the staff were very attentive(yet not overbearing in any way). The Manager made it his job to ensure everyone was happy with their food and the service which added a nice personal touch. If we visit this part of the UK in the future we will definitely have another meal the the King William IV
