Tutti Pole

My boyfriend’s mom took me here for a late afternoon lunch on a rainy Sunday a few weeks ago. I’m from America and this was my first trip to England, so I was super excited to try all of the local restaurants.
The Tutti Pole is super cute and cozy. It seems to be run by a family, as we had all ages of people serving us, including some young teenagers.
We each had a big bowl of tomato-​basil soup served with crusty bread. The original idea was to have room for one of the desserts (we were seated next to a fridge and could see many delicious looking treats), but we ended up stuffed and with no room in our stomachs!
The table next to us had two men enjoying afternoon tea. It looked fantastic! They offered to let me try some, but I declined. Next trip, I would love to go back and experience the cream tea.
FYI– This restaurant is cash only, come prepared!
