History

Established in 2011.

Hull Computers was formed in 2011 to provide affordable yet honest and open repair services to the people of Hull, in both business and domestic environments.

We are proud of the fact that many of our customers have become repeat customers, and have no hesitation in recommending us to their family and friends. This shows that we are achieving our goal of providing excellent customer service, as well as top class computer and laptop repairs.

We now hold stock of many common replacement parts, enabling us to offer a fast turnaround on all sorts of computer problems, such as cracked laptop screens and dead power supply units.

We intend to grow even more in 2013, but we intend to ensure we continue providing the same levels of customer satisfaction that has helped us get this far, in all we do.

Back in March 2011, I found myself facing redundancy from a reasonably well paid job with the local council.

Not being afraid of a challenge, I took the option of voluntary redundancy so that I could take charge of my own destiny and run my own business. It was (and still is) a daunting challenge, not knowing if you are doing the right thing, but with the right attitude towards ensuring the business would do well, and of course continued support from happy customers — I find myself nearly two years on with a business established that has firm footings in the local computer repair industry.

I enjoy the work I do repairing computers for people, it offers a lot of variety, challenges and surprises. It’s always nice to sort out a problem for a customer, and take away the worry of them of having to pay expensive repair bills.

The business is still growing and I’m looking into new areas of expansion to ensure it’s continued success, and at least now I’m in control of my own destiny!
