Business Owner

I have taught many pupils from childhood through teenage until they left for university. I also have considerable experience with adult learners of any age, whether they resume after a break or are complete beginners, some of them taking up an instrument for the first time when they reach retirement.

My approach to teaching is friendly and informal. Beginners acquire solid technical skills and get acquainted with a variety of styles and periods of music. As they progress, they can steer their own course and fully enjoy music making.

I help singers and players of any instruments with specific aspects of music theory or interpretation. I share my experience with other teachers seeking to bridge gaps in some specialist aspect of music.
