We are a Reliable and Professional Removal company, who are Fully insured.

We use proper Luton Removal vans, which have a lot more space than many of our competitors standard vans. Their wider completely square shape makes loading furniture so much easier.

Rates — remember these are very large luton vans — so you will need fewer trips — hence less hours used! Most of my moves get done on one go!

£30 P/​H for 1 man or £45P/​H for 2 men — There is a minimum 1 hour charge for deliveries (i.e. JUST a sofa or fridge you need collecting, or just a few boxes/​bags),

and a 2 HOUR minimum charge for all other REMOVALS (i.e. studio, flat, office, room moves with furniture — if just bags/​boxes — for instance student or other young person then 1 hr minimum). £5 P/​H more after 6pm and on sundays.

We are a local company providing a reputable and cost effective service for small to medium domestic and commercial removals. We typically move ½/​3 bed flats/​houses, we can provide 1 or 2 Luton vans. We can also organise storage on your behalf, utilizing Big Box storage centres in Brighton, Portslade and Newhaven, we also use a storage centre in Southwick which is better value for longer term storage.

Our prices are excellent value, not only because we are considerably cheaper than the larger removal companies, but because we also offer a high level of service. We can help you by disassembling and then reassembling furniture, whether its a bed or an antique wardrobe.

HI, I’m Mike, owner of Kemptown Removals. Before moving to Brighton in 2009, I was head porter in the furniture department of a major London antiques auction house. Whilst there I learned the care and proper handling needed when moving antique furniture. I pass this knowledge onto my employees at Kemptown Removals. I really enjoy helping people move, whether its a home or business, and like meeting new people everyday, and exceeding their expectations. What makes me really happy is when people say how great our customer service is and how polite my staff are, this isn’t just because I want a good reputation for my company, its just who I am!
