Established in 1982.

The original mill was turned into a pub in 1982. Since then it has had many owners and refurbishments. Currently it has 2 main bar areas, a restaurant area and a cosy conservatory.

The Floaters Mill is an excellent restaurant as well as a pub. I have been on numerous occasions for pub style meals and they have always been tasty, well prepared and piping hot. The staff are very friendly too.
In my opinion, the best meal you can get there is their cavery. It is very reasonably priced for what you get and they also have the biggest yorkshire puddings i have EVER seen which is amazing!
I’m not sure if they still do it but in the summer i had a delicious devonshire cream tea which was to die for.
