the stackyard public house is situated near houghton le spring town centre in west herrington (also near to sunderland). they do lovely meals and are very reasonably priced. they have lots of locals that go there to eat regularly as the prices and quality of the food is superb. our family and i like to sometimes go on a sunday for lunch on special occasions and as a treat on birthdays etc.
Children are also very welcome in the dining areas which is sometimes difficult to find in some public houses.
great british food is served here and staff are all welcoming and friendly!
