Popped in here on the way back from Horshamnot bad at all. Hadn’t been here for some time as we normally go to The Fountain in Ashurst. However, I am fast becoming a fan of Dark Star brews and this place knows how to look after a beer! We didn’t eat this time but shall certainly do in the very near future. Situated on a South/West facing corner The Partridge captures the Sun well. Parking is good.

This is a nice enough pub with extra friendly staff running it. I’ve only ever been there in the daytime though and it does lack some atmosphere and to be honest — customers. They have an excellent selection of lagers and real ales and the menu is good hearty pub grub at really reasonable prices. There’s a really good beer garden to enjoy in the summer and the village is a nice quiet area to walk off your lunch afterwards.

An excellent local pub with well-kept Fuller’s London Pride. Well-prepared food with exceptionally generous portions. Dog and children friendly and with a safe, outside, children’s play area. Note that the pub is on the corner of Church Road and Partridge Green High Street — not as shown on the Google map, which location is about half a mile out.

Stopped off here for lunch and a pint after an expedition to the legendary art materials wholesalers, Seawhites. The warmest reception I’ve had in a long time, lovely proprietors, fantastic(and good value) food and a decent jukebox. Clean, fuss-free and well looked after, this place stands to get better and better with time. Worth a special trip from Brighton — which we’ll be doing again soon.

This is a local pub. As its located in a quiet village its usually full of the local people and everyone tends to know everyone. Often frequented by the younger generations as its the only pub on the high street.
