History

Established in 1992.

Dignity Pet Crematorium was started by Barry & Carole Spurgeon after watching a distressing TV documentary that showed how pets are usually placed in a bag and put into a freezer for up to a week before being taken away by a van alongside the vet’s clinical waste.

Sadly most vets only offer this type of weekly service and owners wanting their pet looked after and cremated individually should do their own research and contact their local pet crematorium directly to ensure they get the service they want.

He is a director of the Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria and is committed to ensure that Dignity Pet Crematorium continues to offer award winning services and the very best send off for each pet that comes to Dignity.
