C Gilvarry

This is the doctor we use for our children and I have high praise for her. A wonderfully friendly down to earth approach — full of useful advice and reassurance.
The surgery is centrally located on Bancroft right next door to a chemist which is handy for picking up prescriptions after you’ve paid a visit.
The surgery itself is clean and efficient, with kiddy playthings to amuse them while you wait and their administration is good — sending reminder for vaccinations etc as and when they are due.
My only gripe is the telephone booking system — if you need an appointment that day then you need to be on the phone at 8am sharp (not a second before or you’ll get the answerphone) to stand a decent chance of getting an appointment.
