We supply air tools and extraction that address dust hazards when trimming and repairing composites. As composite technical partners for Dynabrade and Festool, we can help with dust free operations. We have developed step sanding tool kits to save you time and money over standard repairs.

History

Established in 2005.

Dark Matter Composites was formed in 2005 to initially provide design, prototyping and consultancy services for composites. However, there was a marked interest for training courses from our customers who knew our prior training expertise and there were few companies who could provide the training to the standards required.

We have been lead consultants for writing the UK’s National Occupation Standards that dictate the content of qualifications. All our courses are fully documented to the UK’s Qualifications and Curriculum Authority standards and our tutors have teaching qualifications and are fully trained and assessed in-​house to guarantee the quality of our courses.

Over the years, we have built a customer base that spans industry sectors rather than focus on one industry sector. We have a reputation for delivering actual solutions beyond expectations.

I am the Managing director of Dark Matter Composites and I am one of the UK’s leading advisors on advanced composites; including materials, processing, engineering & training.

Dark Matter Composites Ltd was set up in 2005 to provide training and consultancy services to the Composites industry. Always exceeding our customers’ expectations we are recognised as providing world class solutions. Our service is open, honest and unbiased in all our activities.

I set up the UK’s first further education ‘Advanced Composites Training Centre’ where I delivered training to personnel from all backgrounds including hobbyists, companies, designers, RAF personnel and F1 technicians. My experience in composites includes F1, Indy Car, WRC and touring car projects, vehicle and aerospace projects, tooling design and special projects over the last 19 years.
