Everyone knows Tesco’s are rubbish. Rubbish food at almost low prices. Typically the fruit and veg will be a bit old or bruised. They easily run out of stock here. Which is because the warehouse is too small. They planned it this way to ensure large shop floor. However expansion is underway. It is open 24 hours apart from early hours when the kids come in to steal alcohol. Having seen the night staff hurl the biscuits across the floor I avoid buying fragile goods here. It is just so damn convenient.

I have a love/hate relationship with this Tesco store. Sometimes, like today, I can breeze in and out fairly quickly, and the selection is good. Other times I absolutely hate it. The most ridiculous decisions can be made here — such as refusing to sell me 11 mini bags of marshmallows which were needed to make rice crispies squares to raise money at my kids’ schools bake sales for cancer research — company policy is 10 per customer — otherwise they think you’re purchasing to sell on. Can be really busy, but it is a huge store, so for the most part it can handle the volume of traffic, and I’ve never not found a parking space.
