History

Established in 1969.

V.J.Fleet & Sons is a well established independent family run business based in Hampshire specialising in all aspects of groundworks (drainage, foundations, underpinning and wetpour safety surfacing to name a few).

Our aim is to provide a quality service with personal supervision to customers large and small.

We work mainly in the southern half of Great Britain for local authorities as well as schools, nurseries, hospitals, colleges, commercial organisations and the public.

V.J.Fleet & Sons have been trading since 1969. It started out with Vernon John Fleet who was trading as a sole trader until September 2009 when the company changed to Limited.

Vernon Fleet developed and grew the business from a one man band up to a thriving company employing over 20 employees. Some of which are sons, a daughter, grandchildren and other family members.

In 1998 he started a sister company Honeyvale Building Company for the sole purpose of working on schools for a timber framed modular building company Homelodge buildings Ltd.

Over the years the company has built up regular clients such as Amiri Construction, Dorelbury Ltd, HA & DB Kitchin Ltd, Harbour Park (Littlehampton), EPS (Mitie), R.J.Winnicott, Gregory Havant Ltd and Meridian Construction Ltd to name a few.

During the years we have carried out contracts for the public and private sector from as little as £1000.00 to £250 000.00.
