Lovely local fishmonger that Brookmans Park as a village is lucky to have.
Brookmans Park is a small place and these guys cater for their audience (and regular returning customers) — so while the selection isn’t huge it’s always fresh and consistent to season.
And, if there’s something specific you want, just tell them and order it in advance — especially for more exotic /​less traditional stuff. I’ve had to do that with swordfish in the past.
I don’t even know where the next nearest fishmonger is — probably St Albans — so this is a real local gem. It’s also discreetly nestled away at the end of the parade on Bradmore Green and I know people who have lived in Brookmans Park for years who don’t even know it’s there! As I say, Brookmans Park is lucky.
Couple of tips:
1. If you really want something specific order in advance (but you’re fine to pop in for stuff like cod loin, salmon, sea bass, tuna etc etc).
2. Check the opening times as they shut around 4pm.
